Job Description
We are seeking an anglophone or francophone teacher or teaching assistant to join our team of 5 teachers and teaching assistants at Douces Maternelles Broca from January 2024 onwards for a 35H CDI contract. JOB DESCRIPTION : - Plan, prepare, and lead creative workshops for groups of children - Accompany children throughout the day (park, lunch, nap, snack etc) - Daily communication with parents about their child's day - Participate in weekly team meetings and professional development sessions - Take care of the school and classroom space
Candidate Requirements
- Teaching experience with children aged 2 - 6 - Work permit for France (without employer sponsorship) We focus on community, social-emotional development, connection, process art, and play, via the Reggio Emilia pedagogy. Early childhood classroom experience is a must. It is important that you be a "natural" with children, quick to learn, and willing to grow in our setting. We are looking for someone who has natural authority with children, is quick on their feet, and always thinking ahead for the safety of the children. Our ideal candidate is creative, very organized, prompt, and thorough when it comes to tidying and cleaning the classroom space.
