URGENT – English teachers needed for Arts et Métiers Paris campus (ENSAM), English courses, Sept 2025 to Jan 2026. Place : 155 Bd de l’Hôpital, 75013 Status : vacataire Pay = 36 euros / hr net (Education Nationale rate) The usual rules apply for vacataires : you are eligible to teach at ENSAM if you have a main employer / have been self-employed for at least three years, etc. The offer : 1 group x 20hrs, 10 lessons of 2hrs, year 3/M2, regular “programme grande école” (PGE) students Sept 2025 to Jan 2026 MONDAYS 08-10 only English for 1 group of year-3 / M2 students ("regular" classes-prépa type of engineering students) 20 contact hours Course content: (1) career development : CVs, cover letters, job interviews, etc. (2) what I call "working across cultures" = managing cultural differences; I have a brochure and ppts ready, together with videos (3) [if teacher is interested in science papers] : writing a "fake paper" (funny topic, reasonably scientific processing of data, e.g. correlation between hair colour and choice of seat in lecture hall (4) – your own material, if it fits in with ENSAM’s learning outcomes for that semester The exact dates are : 1 group on Monday mornings, 08am to 10am Sept 22 & 29, Oct 06 & 13 & 20, Nov 3 & 24, Dec 01 & 15, Jan 5
